Kory's Stories: The Week That Was
Hope you had a great weekend! Here’s what we’ve been up to:
We went live from Design of Mine last Thursday to celebrate the first anniversary of Melissa Tarr’s shop at 33 Main St in downtown Gloucester. If you dig free-spirited women’s wear & accessories, go visit or look up thefluttershawl.com
Visited encaustic painting artist Deb Gonet at her home in Lanesville. Encaustic painting involves using heated beeswax to which colored pigments are added. The Cape Ann Artisans Tour is October 6-8.
Shot a quick video for the big Magnolia Pier Fundraiser (Friday, Sept 21 at Manchester Bath & Tennis Club. It’s a free event with a big turnout expected. We’ll be there to broadcast live. As a Magnolia kid, it was a rite of passage to jump off the pier. Watch the promo here: https://bit.ly/2NONQLa
Spent time with Carla at Captain Carlo’s to discuss their famous parties for the Patriots Sunday games. They give away free Pats ticket & gear all season long. Watch the video here: https://bit.ly/2pbhjkH
Met with Carol Pallazolla to promoted last Saturday’s Gloucester Harvest Music Fest. It was great event and turnout. Carol and I go way back to West Parish School. She’s involved in 100 different fundraisers and often pops up on The Bridge.
The White Elephant Shop removed the famous concrete elephant from atop their store on Main Street in Essex – with the help of Tally’s. We captured it live. You can see it (and all of our other videos) on the Bridge Cape Ann Facebook page. Watch it here: https://bit.ly/2xdV9mu
Hard to believe, but our 6th Annual Fall Fest at Cape Ann’s Marina Resort is one month away. If you’re interested in being a vendor, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
And if you really like to plan ahead, our next Left Right Center Tournament to benefit the Elks Scholarship Fund is Friday, October 26, from 6:30-9ish. The Yellow Sub will be providing food for purchase! RSVP at bridgecapeann.com
