Important Bridge News
I want to begin by mentioning the recent passings of Elja Bagaco and Pam Carignan. Elja ran Lifetime Celebrations, an event planning service, and Pam owned Sacred Circles metaphysical shop (as well as other businesses in previous years). They were extremely sweet, a pleasure to be around, and a really important part of our community :)
If you haven't heard, the Strawberry Festival and Fall Fest have been canceled. Mile Marker is going through a big transition period, so we respect their decision. We loved having events there and want to give a special shout out to Marshall's Farmstand for a great partnership over the years.
I'm continuing to ease into work as a producer at 1623 Studios (the former Cape Ann TV). Some projects I've introduced are:
The Local Life: video backstories focusing on interesting locals
Timeline Cape Ann: minute-long histories of local landmarks, people, and geographic points of interest
Short and Sweet: a podcast on local food & drink culture with co-host Heather Atwood
There are many more projects in the works!
Oh - the Bridge Cape Ann Facebook page recently surpassed 15,000 followers. Thanks for your support! Finally...
